Favorite things bring us joy. They lift us, brighten and bring us comfort. They are pleasurable. Being related to someone's favorites is being related to that person. It gives a world of that human and all the favorites are highlights and must visit destinations zones. Each favorite is also an opening to someone's world. A place to connect from, a way to tend and be side by side in favorites. Things to talk about, share, tend, nurture. ..Pause for Connection..
ONE WAY TO PLAY 1. Set your Pause Pick your practice; 1min, 2min, 5min, a whopping 10 min; pick your practice that works for you in your life. 2. Create your PAUSE cues What will have you remember to PAUSE? An hourly alarm, transitions, sticky notes on walls and doors, lipstick on the mirror, car rides, every time you stand up; what will have you be present to the pause, what will work WITH YOU? Tuesdays around here we often take a look at getting up close and personal with our bodies; learning about this body system we have and building skills and awareness to decipher the communication our body system has for us.
#WhatsMyBodySayingTuesdays When I support my body's needs, I get to feel good (I actually get to feel great!). And when my body can feel great (free from spasms, free from bombardment to my sensory system): -I can ENJOY the quality of my life. -I can be clear in my mind and available for life and people in a way I am generally not (and wanting to). -I get to be free from bracing and managing. Yes Please for all!
